As part of the Brussels On Holiday programme, Le long du Wilderbeek is a temporary public space in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, Brussels Capital-Region. During the summer 2022, the reuse and the assemblage of existing klinkers collected from the communal storage, permitted to build a bench for sitting on and a planter while the reorganisation of existing flower pots on the street reduced the speed of transit. This action is part of the wider participatory process initiated by the BrusseauBis action-research project (Innoviris Experimental Platform grant), in which initiatives such as co-design and co-construction workshops activate various forms of collaboration between public and private actors in the Molenbeek catchment area.
