Water and Landscape
Latitude will present some research results at University IUAV of Venice on the 13th of November during the course of Urbanism lead by Cristina Renzoni, part of the master degree “Architettura per il Nuovo e l’Antico” (New and Ancient Architecture) which focuses on investigations on water flows, planning river basins (contratti di fiume) and design strategies in the Veneto region. Latitude will show some experiences on the construction of scenarios, design and territorial identity related to the research Veneto 2100 Living With Water and the process of building the Verona Plain Observatory with the Verona Plain Waterboard in order to give students suggestions and stimulate the debate on methodology and the role of urban designers.
