Latitude together with B&M engineering has explored the entire branch of the Sile River that goes from its springs until Treviso city centre. The fieldwork was especially focusing on finding and surveying the intakes (private and public, coming from agriculture, fish farming or settlements) that go directly into the river in order to check the most problematic ones.

But from a territorial and urban point of view, the fieldwork has revealed how such amazingly rich and diverse ecosystem, a potential natural park, is totally disconnected from the daily life of Treviso: its banks are mostly privatized and there are no ways to experience the river but by boat.
