On December 16, in the frame of the research Reducing Boundaries, IRSES Marie Staff Exchange Project, a plenary meeting has been organized in Venice by the research group of the Università IUAV di Venezia (coordinator Emanuela Bonini Lessing) to expose the work made by the European partners (IUAV and Latitude) in Porto Alegre (Brazil) to the Brazilian partners from the Department of Criminology of Unilasalle in Canoas. Latitude will present the results of the fieldwork done in Porto Alegre, describing the integration of the quantitative (mapping, gis) and qualitative (interviews, participatory activities) research methods.
