Tomorrow  Wednesday 26^th of November, between 18u00 and 20u00 at UGent, Latitude (Fabio Vanin) will participate together with Dirk Somers (Bovenbouw) to the  lecture series under the title “Designing Urbanization”. Whereas the design discipline is firmly rooted in the urban project, this lecture series would like to look for moments where design might add to the development of a broader discussion on the “art of urbanization”.

Whereas Dirk Somers will present his recent work  for VLM explicitly starting from the ‘low perspective’ and built environment to build the imagination of the urban landscape, Latitude will show mapping results from different researchers the Platform has been working on in the last years where the map is a starting point to gradually add other media and broaden its meaning.
