We are pleased to announce that Latitude has been officially validated by the European Commission as a research organization under the 7th Framework program, promoted by the Community Research and Development Information Service.

The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) bundles all research-related EU initiatives together under a common roof playing a crucial role in reaching the goals of growth, competitiveness and employment. Latitude is now part of the European Research Area (ERA).

ERA is a unified research area open to the world based on the Internal market, in which researchers, scientific knowledge and technology circulate freely. Through ERA, the Union and its Member States aims to strengthen their scientific and technological bases, their competitiveness and their capacity to collectively address grand challenges.
