Which is the current state of knowledge in the field of urban sustainability and resilience?

Some of the most recent and relevant research upon the linkages between human societies, the technological world and the natural environment are presented and confronted in London at the 1st International Conference on Urban Sustainability and Resilience organized by the Centre for Urban Sustainability & Resilience of the University College London (5-6 November 2012).
