Latitude thanks the Cambodian Mekong University in Phnom Penh for organizing the conference on Floating Urbanism on the 27^th of March and for facilitating the discussion with the students and professionals.

A very interesting discussion was conducted which will feedback into our on-going study on floating settlements in the Mekong Lower Basin, the Amazon region and the Netherlands.

We are now continuing this study in Vietnam till the 12^th of April with fieldwork in Chau Doc and meetings in Long Xuyen, Can Tho, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
