Latitude was exhibiting some results from the two researches Living with Water in the Veneto Region and Floating Urbanism at the British Museum during the conference Anthropology in the World (8-10 June 2012) organized by the Royal Anthropological Institute.

The core theme of the conference was in fact the overlap between anthropology and other disciplines and practices, such as medicine, law, design or politics, business and tourism.

Our exhibition was focusing on the representation of the findings coming from the anthropological work and how that has influenced the design choices. Diagrams, info-graphics, models, pictures and videos aimed at showing how different media can be used to communicate the anthropological study beyond/together with text. Visualizing anthropology, using it as a tool for design practices is for Latitude crucial  to work in the direction of a more attentive design.
