Latitude will present some of the results of the research Floating Urbanism  during the conference Architecture-Landscape (1-2-3 February 2012, Politecnico di Milano – Polo territoriale di Piacenza, Campus Arata – Padiglione Vedezzi). The three days conference will discuss three main themes: Agricultural Landscapes, Fluvial Landscapes and Slow Landscapes.

Thursday 2nd February, under the theme of fluvial landscapes, Latitude will present two case studies: the living conditions in the Dutch Delta and the neighborhood of Belén in Iquitos (Perù),  along the Amazon River. Floating Urbanism will be introduced by Marco Mareggi; after the presentations will follow a debate with Bertrando Bonfantini, Juan Carlos Dall’Asta, Giovanna Fontana, Antonio Longo, Pasquale Mei.
